River Poets

River Poets are a Canadian duo that built their foundations in the history and heritage of their Canadian homeland. Brothers Jo and Cabel Johnson explore the endless realms of Canada’s wilderness and history, bringing it to light through their own brand of Canadianity folk-rock. On their debut EP, River Poets deliver songs ‘for all Canadians’ name-checking a number of provinces, cities, and towns, and delve into the tales tied to the land. The concept is as grassroots as it comes and the brothers’ delivery is exceptional.
